What a great space! Everyone was so friendly and the coffee was delicious. I tried the iced Coastal Cowgirl. They had bakery items for sale too that looked delicious and even a few art pieces on the wall you could buy. If I lived closer, I’d be a regular.
Very large venue, great for getting together with a big group of friends or family. Plenty of seating options such as couches, small tables, and large tables. A nice spot to work and right across from a small park in case you want to walk off some of the caffeine from your coffee. The ordering process was super smooth thanks to their digital menu system — easy to browse, customize, and pay right from the table. The staff was friendly, food came out quickly, and everything was exactly as ordered. Really appreciated how clear the menu was. Unfortunatelly there were not enough pastries at the time we went. Will definitely come back, though!

Collective Coffee is a spacious and inviting spot near the downtown area, offering a fantastic selection of coffee and pastries! We tried The Virginia and The Kentucky both were beautifully balanced, smooth, and flavorful. The Virginia had a delicate floral sweetness, while The Kentucky offered a rich, cozy depth with a touch of sea salt. We also enjoyed their almond and pistachio croissants, which were crisp on the outside and soft, buttery, and generously filled on the inside, perfect pairings with the drinks! Although the cafe is quite spacious, tables fill up quickly, especially during peak hours. Parking can be a bit challenging given the downtown location, but it’s well worth the effort. Overall, the Collective Coffee is a wonderful place for a quality coffee break or a cozy spot to get some work done. Highly recommended!
A Hidden Gem in Downtown McKinney! I had the pleasure of visiting Collective in downtown McKinney, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a trendy yet cozy vibe that makes it the perfect spot for coffee lovers and casual meet-ups. Their coffee is top-notch—smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. Whether you prefer a classic latte or something more adventurous, their baristas clearly take pride in crafting every cup with care. The real standout, however, is their croissants and pastries. The croissants are beautifully flaky on the outside, buttery soft on the inside, and absolutely divine. Their pastries are equally impressive, with a variety that will tempt every palate. I tried the almond croissant, and it was heavenly—just the right balance of sweetness and texture. The staff is friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or indulging in their baked goods, Collective is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back soon!
This past weekend, we used this location as a 50th party event venue. The location was extremely spacious, had a beautiful interior and plenty of seating. The two workers supported us and helped us with the the few things that we needed. I highly recommend this place as it is the perfect venue for forty to sixty people. Very good coffee , my wife showed me this awesome place. Ever since I try going when I'm in the McKinney area! Starbucks prices but the quality is top notch, will definitely keep on going. Never had food there but pretty sure is good
